DMCii orders UK-DMC2 sensor model
Spacemetric has received an order to develop and calibrate a physical sensor model for the UK-DMC2 satellite. This mission was built for operator DMC International Imaging (DMCii) by Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd and features a 22-metre multispectral imager. The Spacemetric work will enable full access for UK-DMC2 to the cataloguing, archiving and product processing functions of the Keystone image management system operated by DMCii.

Saccess satellite image database launched
The new Swedish national satellite image database Saccess was launched on 24th June 2008. This is the latest image management solution developed by Spacemetric for the National Land Survey and builds on the same technology as the airborne image production system that was taken into operation during 2007.

SAAB selects Keystone to manage Gripen reconnaissance imagery
The Swedish defence contractor SAAB has selected Spacemetric's Keystone server technology to manage imagery from the SPK39 reconnaissance pod used by the Swedish Air Force's JAS 39 Gripen multi-role combat aircraft. Spacemetric delivers airborne imagery production solution to the Swedish National Land Survey
Spacemetric announced today that it has completed delivery and operational roll-out of a complete image production solution based on their Keystone image server technology to the Swedish National Land Survey. This solution is serving image products from the Land Survey’s 50 Terabyte archive of existing orthophotos and recent digital airborne camera acquisitions.

Spacemetric joins Dutch defence satellite partnership
Spacemetric has entered into a development agreement with the National Aerospace Laboratory (NLR), making it a partner in the Netherlands Ministry of Defence Force’s Ground Support for Imagery Operations Project, GISMO. Initially, Spacemetric will provide a solution for the operational geometric correction of Eros-A and SPOT-4 satellite imagery received by NLR’s RAPIDS mobile ground station. Spacemetric announced today that it has delivered an image geocorrection
solution for the Disaster Monitoring Constellation (DMC) of satellites to Surrey Satellite Technology Limited (SSTL) of Guildford, United Kingdom. Initially the system will geoprocess data from the 32-metre resolution instrument onboard the UK-DMC satellite.
Web Map Server delivered for ESA’s image catalogue
Spacemetric has developed a Web Map Server interface for the European Space Agency’s Multi-Mission Catalogue (MUIS) for satellite imagery. The MUIS2WMS project was won amid stiff competition in early 2003. The development lasted for 12 months and was delivered on time and to budget.
